My name is Jesse Larabee. I am a former foster child of the CA$. The year I aged out of foster care I was interviewed by Margo Kelly a reporter at CBC NEWS. Hear the interview on my youtube account. I participated in this CBC news interview because Ms. Cooke at the child advocacy office in Toronto, Ontario asked me to be interviewed and I agreed. I was living in Timmins, Ontario at the time of the interview. I was born in Timmins, Ontario.

This blog is NOT about talking bad or bashing or shaming individual CAS workers or foster "parents" or social workers. This blog is not about seeking revenge. I used to feel a lot of anger towards the individual foster "parents" and group home workers but now I feel the power to just think of them and wish them well. The purpose of this blog is also to educate tax payers about some of the unethical and morally corrupt activities and practices occurring in many CAS agencies in Ontario and educate about this NEW class action lawsuit in Ontario on behalf of crown wards. It is hoped that that exposure of these practices will promotes positive changes to the manner in which CAS operate and to promote greater accountability and transparency within the CAS agencies in Ontario. It is also hoped that all former foster children receive compensation and that it is used on therapy and education. It is also hoped that my old foster "parents" and group home workers decide to stop abusing kids and start attending a sex offender program in Ontario. It is also hopes that families all across Canada start demanding a better system. It is appalling to me to know a lot of people just don't care and will not get involved and attend media events because they have hobbies and just feel they have more important things to do. I am confused and appalled. What could be more important then getting a better system in place for other children and families? Please think about our next generation and other families in Canada. I will relax and enjoy my life better when we have a better child protection system and better long term care system in Canada. I am appalled that this system in Ontario is so broken. I don't like attending these media events. I'd much rather spend my time fishing and enjoying our world but there is a need to help protect families from this corrupt and dirty system in Canada. There is a need for more oversight of the system in Ontario.

I am almost always prepared to do a interview with the media about my abuse and the class action lawsuit OR about the need for Ombudsman oversight of the CAS in Ontario. I just ask that the media use gender neutral pronouns when talking with or about me, please? Please us "they" instead of "he" or "she". I am gender queer. Genderqueer is most commonly used to describe a person who feels that his/her gender identity does not fit into the socially constructed "norms" associated with his/her biological sex.Genderqueer is an identity that falls anywhere between man/boy/male and woman/girl/female on the spectrum of gender identities.I ask and encourage all people in this class action lawsuit and the media reporters to read this link and maybe even share it.
